Here is what is happening this week in Math 9:
Tuesday: finish up p. 45 1-20 & Practice Test p. 48 1-6 (both need to be completed for Wednesday)
Wednesday: Take up the practice test from p. 48 and do a review of what you will need to know for the test.
Thursday: Chapter 1 Test
What you need to know for the test:
1. Determining a square root of a fraction and a decimal
2. Determine the side length of a square knowing the area
3. Pythagorean Theorem & how to use it
4. Formulas: Surface Area of a rectangle, Surface area of a triangle, Surface Area of a cylinder
(Area of a rectange, Area of a triangle, Area of a circule, & Circumference of a circle)
5. Using the formulas to determine surface areas.
